Closed Circuit (In the middle of Sweden) has been shortlisted for Screengrab New Media Arts Award and will take part in the nominee exhibition opening August 10th in Townsville, Australia.The project is sponsored by James Cook University's School of Creative Arts and the eMergeMedia Space. Closed Circuit (In the middle of Sweden) has been selected by Veronica D'Auria and Lino Strangis to be part of the outdoor event ArteVideoOnTheRoad that takes place at Piazzale del Verano in Rome at 21:00 August 7th. It is part of a selection from last years ArteVideoRoma festival.
Closed Circuit (In the middle of Sweden) will be screened as part of this years edition of Festival Miden in Kalamata, Greece. The Festival will take place from July 5th - July 7th.

A screening of a selected program from this years edition of Oslo Screen Festival - including Closed Circuit (In the middle of Sweden) - will be presented at the Moscow International Film Festival. On the occasion of the shows at Kunstnerforbundet, Oslo and Galleri 54, Gothenburg a catalogue titled "Failure" is published. It features a long interview by curator and art critic Power Ekroth and presentations of the more recent of Mattias Härenstam's work in images and on the accompanying DVD.
